Kim Block, AuD, BC, PASC

Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Block opened Lakeside Audiology in 2015 after realizing the void of care that existed within the greater Charlotte community for patients who seek more answers and a caring, supportive environment. Since then she has worked tirelessly to build a space where people of any age with hearing loss can obtain answers, support and inspiration. She and her staff provide extensive services in behavioral and electrophysiological hearing evaluation, management of hearing loss through amplification and rehabilitation, cochlear implant programming and management, and educational audiology. She is Board Certified in Audiology and holds Specialty Certification in Pediatric Audiology.  Dr. Block is licensed to practice audiology in both North and South Carolina.

Dr. Block graduated from the University of Maryland’s Doctoral program for Audiology in 2006. Her experience has included working at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, Providence Health System in Portland, Oregon, and most recently at Cornerstone Ear, Nose & Throat in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Block and her husband are residents of Tega Cay, South Carolina, where they are raising their three school-age daughters. Their family enjoys outdoor recreation, including biking, hiking and time out on Lake Wylie. They are committed to their early-morning workouts and have a passion for wellness. Above all else, they realize that every day is a gift, and intend to live each day as such.

Keya Lewis

Patient Care Coordinator
Keya (pronounced like the car) brings a unique blend of passion and energy from her home-state of Pennsylvania. With over two decades of experience in the medical field, she joined the Lakeside Family in April 2024 where she has found her home with a team that shares in her commitment to excellence. Beyond the workplace, Keya is an avid sports fan with a love for football and rugby, and proudly cheers for her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers! When not watching a game, you’ll likely find Keya seeking her next adrenaline rush — whether that is skydiving, bungee jumping, or tackling the world’s tallest roller coasters. At Lakeside Audiology, Keya is likely the first person you will meet when coming through our doors. She manages scheduling, new patient intake, and the overall patient experience.
