CAPD testing is a specialized area within audiology. While we do not conduct the testing at our office, there are other providers in the area that perform these evaluations. The first step in determining if CAPD evaluation is recommended is to obtain a comprehensive audiological evaluation. Upon conducting your evaluation and screening measures along with case history, we will provide you your results and refer for CAPD evaluation if appropriate.

A hearing aid evaluation is an appointment in which we discuss a treatment plan to address your hearing loss. At this visit, your audiologist will present you with detailed information regarding hearing aids, making recommendations on what works best for you based on your audiogram along with your lifestyle and budget.

Ringing in the ears (tinnitus) is often accompanied by hearing loss. If you are experiencing ringing in the ears without noticeable hearing loss, a comprehensive audiological evaluation will be scheduled to help investigate the source of the tinnitus. If you are experiencing hearing loss as well as tinnitus, a hearing test and hearing aid evaluation is advised.

Absolutely. We are happy to service any type of hearing aid, regardless of where it was purchased. We have relationships with most major hearing aid manufacturers, including Oticon, Phonak, ReSound, Rexton, Signia/Siemens, Starkey, and Widex.
